How exhausting is to look for a job!!
I know it is an advantage to look for a new job when you are currently employed. But what about all the:
- work during the day, and sit in front of the pc when you get home to look for jobs (when your brain is almost without battery)
- all the advises from people (for example: Do it like this… ; You should never say that….; Change this in your Cv…; It’s all about attitude; etc)
- pick up a call from a recruiter agency while you are in the office (run to the toilet, to the street, anywhere you can hide) and then you are worried about your manager find it out, so you speak quietly (almost whispering) when you should sound with authority and self confident on the phone to the agent as he is the first filter …
- Everyone asking you: how is it going? have you heard anything?… more pressure.
- Missing HIM…. a lot!!

- And after the calls, the Skype interviews, and an interview with the company (on my 30’s Bday) and with a terrible cold. Here I am, waiting for the call. And if after all this you don’t get the job, you will have to continue with the job searching….
- I know waiting on the phone for romantic reasons is great, sexy, stressful and it can be a disaster. But when you are expecting a call for job offer is just F_cking consuming!! (all I want to know: have I got it or not???)
- To Be Continued…
